On October 3rd 2010 at 12:45am, Alissa Ramirez lost her battle with neuroendocrine cancer-a rare form of carcinoid cancer. Because the silent victims of adult cancer are children, this site is dedicated to Alissa's children.  This site is now closed for donations, but for information on carcinoid and neuroendocrine cancer, visit www.carcinoidawareness.org .

The U.S.D.A.'s most recent study states that it costs $222,360 to raise a child from birth to age 18. This does not include college costs and such. For the average family it now takes both parents working. What if something happens to one parent?  On behalf of everyone here we'd like to thank you for your past support.
